Choose the 5’ Portable Splash Pad for most setups using shorter center features.

The 7’ Portable Splash Pad is required for taller features such as the Umbrella, Flower Shower, Rain Blaster, Tall Rain Stick, and Standard Mushroom.

 If you add a taller feature later, we recommend starting with the 7’ model.

What is a Portable Splash Pad?

Does a Portable Splash Pad require permanent installation?

No. Portable Splash Pads are designed to provide water play without excavation or permanent installation. Place the splash pad on a suitable level outdoor surface and connect it to a standard garden hose.

Does the Portable Splash Pad arrive assembled?

Yes. My Splash Pad Portable Splash Pads ship fully assembled, so there is no complicated assembly required.

What do I need to operate a Portable Splash Pad?

You need a suitable level outdoor surface, access to a standard garden hose, and adequate water pressure. No electrical connection or chemicals are required.

What is the difference between the 5’ and 7’ Portable Splash Pads?

Both sizes provide a similar spray area. The primary difference is stability when using taller center features. The 7’ Portable Splash Pad is required for taller features such as the Umbrella, Flower Shower, Rain Blaster, Tall Rain Stick, and Standard Mushroom. For shorter features, we generally recommend the 5’ pad.

Can I add a water play feature to my Portable Splash Pad later?

Yes. Portable Splash Pads are designed so you can add a compatible center water play feature later. Remove the center cap, install the feature, and open the ball valve beneath the platform to supply water to it. You may need to adjust the water flow between the platform nozzles and center feature.

How large is the water play area?

The Portable Splash Pad can provide a water play area of up to approximately 20 feet, depending on your water pressure.

How much water pressure does a Portable Splash Pad need?

Most features operate at approximately 3–5 PSI or less, but water-volume requirements vary by product. We recommend a 3/4” garden hose and, for optimum water flow, a hose approximately 25 feet long or shorter. A platform with a center feature uses approximately 10 GPM.

Can I control how high or far the water sprays?

Yes. Water flow can be adjusted at the spigot, and the directional nozzles can be repositioned using the supplied locking key. Platforms with center features also have separate ball valves underneath for balancing water flow between the platform and center feature.

Can one person move a Portable Splash Pad?

The products are not exceptionally heavy—the 7’ platform is approximately 80 pounds—but their size can make them awkward for one person to move. Never roll a Portable Splash Pad on its edge, as this can damage the garden hose adapter.

How do I winterize my Portable Splash Pad?

Disconnect the garden hose and tilt the product until the water has finished draining. If temperatures in your area fall below freezing, store the product inside a building to help prevent freeze damage.

What warranty comes with a Portable Splash Pad?

Portable Splash Pads include a 10-year limited warranty on the fiberglass. Nozzles, piping, the water play feature base, components, and anti-slip or other surfacing carry a 1-year limited warranty. Warranty coverage applies to qualifying defects or malfunctions and excludes improper use, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, UV exposure, fire, theft, vandalism, storms, and similar causes.
